Meet the dedicated and caring staff at the office of Arnold Balber, DDS
Dr. Arnold Balber
Dr. Balber is a member of the American Dental Association and the San Fernando Valley Dental Society for over 25 years. Dr. Balber has served on the Peer Review Committee of the SFVDS for many years which oversees quality control. Dr. Balber still continues to have a passion for dentistry and a love for his profession.
Dr. Balber graduated from UCLA in 1980. He was a member of the UCLA Dental School Apollonians. He completed a 1-year mini-residency program in Cosmetic Dentistry and attends numerous continuing education courses yearly.
Dr. Balber is a local product who grew up in Woodland Hills. He attended Hale Jr.High School and El Camino Real High School and did his undergraduate studies at CSUN.
Dr. Balber has a passion for the less fortunate and he provides many hours of free dental care. He started a free dental clinic in Watts and provided a decade of care to those patients. He has been a member of the Woodland Hills Optimist Club for over 25 years. Dr. Balber is very much a family man and a man of faith. His faith has shaped his values and how he practices dentistry. He has been married to his wife for 35 years. They raised two daughters and now have four grandchildren. His life is shaped by the “Three F’s” – faith, family, and friends.
Dr. Balber takes pride in providing high quality dentistry in a quiet, relaxed atmosphere to the people in this community. His goal is to help patients preserve their smiles while improving dental health with the latest methods available. Dr. Balber is passionate about keeping up-to-date with the latest dental technology and spends countless hours in advanced training.
Dr. Rica is happily married with 3 sons. Her husband of 12 years is a Special Education teacher in the San Fernando Valley. The family has made their home in the West Valley community where their sons attend school.
There is never a dull moment with three energetic boys. Dr. Rica likes listening to live music and spending leisure time with family. She is also interested in food and fashion.

Dr. Rica has been a dentist for over 15 years with an emphasis on cosmetic and family dentistry. She completed a 10-month Esthetic Dentistry Residency and develops professionally by steadily earning continuing education units annually.
With her caring and gentle manner, Dr. Rica is committed to providing excellent patient care. She is a member of the San Fernando Dental Society, California Dental Association, and American Dental Association.
She understands that some patients have fears and apprehensions about what to expect during treatment. Her approach is conservative, emphasizing on your physical and emotional comfort. She is a big advocate of preventive care and her thorough and gentle touch puts patients at ease.
Rita enjoys theater, travel, and Italian food.
Whether you are in for your first hygiene visit or are an existing patient, she will always go out of her way to make sure you are comfortable and secure by providing a gentle and thorough hygiene experience. She is an enthusiastic advocate for preventative solutions and committed to helping you achieve optimal periodontal health. Vivian is determined to inform and educate you on how together, you can treat your periodontal needs. She always puts your health and well-being first.
In her spare time, she enjoys giving back to her community by volunteering at local free clinics and events. She also enjoys going to the gym, being in the outdoors, and spending quality time with her family, friends, and dog (Daisy).
Vivian Linares, RDH
Vivian, our Dental Hygienist has been in the dental field since 2006. She is highly competent, warm, extremely caring, and enthusiastic about her career.
Vivian is an active member with the American Dental Hygienists' Association and a Board member for the Ventura County Dental Hygienists' Association.
He has years of experience and training in CEREC technology and is considered the doctors' right hand. Isaias is skilled and dependable. Whether you need a crown, partial crown, or veneers, he will take care of you in one visit.
Isaias is a huge sports fan and enjoys time with his family.
Our patients truly appreciate him. His personalized care and service help provide a relaxing and positive experience for our clientele. He makes dental appointments as pleasant and comfortable as possible.
Mario loves great adventure and is fond of skiing.
Multi-tasking and organized, Yesenia is responsible for financial arrangements, billing, and educating patients about their treatment plan and insurance benefits.
She is the mother of 3 beautiful children and loves to spend every minute of her spare time with them.
She works hard to ensure your experience is a pleasant one. She always makes patients feel welcome and relaxed while checking them in and out, explaining recommended treatment , setting up convenient appointment times, and helping with insurance questions.
Diana loves outdoor activities and camping with the family is her favorite.
Understanding and building a bond with patients is really important to her. Jessica enjoys working with patients. She is also certified in dental assisting. Her warm personality will make you feel comfortable and right at home. She also guides patients towards carrying on healthy habits and taking care of their smile.
Family is very important to her. She loves any family activity, whether it be staying in for a movie night or camping outdoors.
